Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright

About the role

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a self‑motivated Maintenance Technician to join its North Las Vegas plant. You will be responsible for keeping critical industrial equipment running smoothly through troubleshooting, installation, alignment, and preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, align, and dismantle industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Perform periodic maintenance, lubricate machines, and execute preventive‑maintenance (PM) tasks.
• Collaborate with operations to prioritize maintenance needs and record work in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Maintain accurate logs of labor hours, parts usage, and critical findings.
• Follow all plant safety and environmental policies and actively participate in the safety program.

Required profile

• Mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, agricultural, or military environment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors, rollers, pulleys, and shafts.
• Five or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
