Independent Window Installer (1099) – Up to $300K/yr

About the role

As a 1099 Window Installer you will join Mad City Windows, a Renuity company, to deliver high‑quality window and home‑remodeling installations across Des Moines and surrounding areas. You will work independently, following company standards to ensure each homeowner receives a flawless finish and a stress‑free experience.

Key responsibilities

• Install home remodeling products, including replacement windows, according to Mad City standards.
• Apply finish work such as caulking, trimming, and detailing as needed.
• Communicate with management after each job to confirm customer satisfaction and authorize final payments.
• Complete a job checklist with the homeowner at completion.
• Treat each homeowner and their property with the utmost respect.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of remodeling, carpentry, or construction experience.
• Knowledge of residential replacement windows, metal bending, window wrapping, and caulking.
• Operates an established LLC or business under an EIN.
• Possesses general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.
• Owns a cargo van, box truck, shuttle, or a vehicle capable of pulling a trailer.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
