Independent Freight Broker

About the role

Transimex Global, a freight brokerage company with 30 years of experience serving customers from the US and Canada, is looking for an experienced independent Freight Broker. The broker earns 70% of the gross profit on each deal, works remotely and sets their own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Source and onboard new shippers across the US and Canada
• Identify reliable carriers and build strong transportation partnerships
• Negotiate competitive rates with shippers and carriers
• Manage the full freight cycle, from quoting to final delivery
• Track loads and manage delivery schedules
• Maintain strong relationships with all parties and resolve transportation issues, customer concerns and delays

Required profile

• Proven experience in freight brokerage
• Active network of shippers from the US and Canada (book of business)
• Self-motivated, organized and driven to close deals
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Required skills

• Proficiency with load boards
• Proficiency with TMSS
