In-House Agency Plus RN – Med/Surg (Temporary)

About the role

The In‑House Agency Plus Program offers PRN RN positions for 13‑week intervals, requiring 36 hours per week. Nurses will provide Med/Surg staffing across multiple UAMS locations, adapting to shifting assignments and patient care needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in acute care settings, including Med/Surg, Critical Care, and Trauma units.
• Coordinate care transitions, triage patients, and collaborate with providers, fellows, and staff.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and major holidays, across UAMS Health, UAMS Benton/Bryant, and the Orthopaedic and Spine Hospital.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN) with a valid RN license.
• Minimum 12 months recent acute‑care RN experience; up to 6 months may be in a management role.
• Specialty experience in Critical Care or F4 Surgical Trauma with pre‑screening test score ≥80%.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to use personal protective equipment, including N95, PAPR, or CAPR.
