In-Home High School Math Tutor

About the role

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking enthusiastic high school math tutors to provide in‑home instruction in the Raleigh‑Durham area. You will help students master mathematics, accounting, and statistics while aligning with North Carolina standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized math instruction based on the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
• Develop customized learning plans that emphasize understanding over memorization.
• Provide remedial support or enrichment challenges as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress.

Required profile

• Current, valid North Carolina Professional Educator's License or a qualified teacher candidate.
• Experience or training in high school mathematics, accounting, or statistics.
• Residency in North Raleigh, Wake Forest, Cary, Apex, Brier Creek, or Leesville.

Required skills
