In-Home Aide / CNA

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate, hands‑on care for clients in the Mount Pleasant and greater Charleston area.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and oral feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Support mobility through ambulation assistance, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Conduct vital sign checks and range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Provide medication assistance and basic nursing tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of work experience in hands‑on care or a Home Health Aide certificate.
• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or equivalent qualification.

Required skills

• Ability to perform basic patient care tasks safely and respectfully.
• Knowledge of vital sign monitoring and simple therapeutic exercises.
