In-Arena Game Host

About the role

The Los Angeles Lakers are seeking an energetic In‑Arena Game Host to engage fans during all home games at Crypto.com Arena. Reporting to the Director of Game Entertainment, you will be the on‑court personality who brings promotions, contests, and interviews to life.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate live promotions, interactive contests, and on‑court activities for preseason, regular season, and playoff games.
• Conduct fan interviews and deliver clear, accurate explanations of entertainment segments.
• Collaborate with sponsors and partners to shoot promotional and marketing pieces.
• Follow NBA rules, team procedures, and timing cues, adjusting on the fly as needed.
• Represent the Lakers brand professionally with a positive attitude.

Required profile

• Prior experience hosting in front of large audiences or on‑camera productions.
• Ability to memorize scripts, improvise, and maintain strict timing.
• Strong on‑camera presence and ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of the Los Angeles Lakers brand and corporate partners.
• Physical ability to lift up to 10 lb and work flexible hours covering all home games.

Required skills

• Use of in‑ear IFB communication systems (preferred).
