Alonso & Alonso Attorneys at Law PLLC is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join their hybrid team in San Antonio, TX. The role involves providing personalized legal representation across a broad spectrum of immigration matters, ensuring clients receive thorough guidance and support throughout their cases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative legal strategies for family‑based, employment‑based, humanitarian, and removal‑defense immigration cases.
• Represent clients in USCIS interviews, immigration court hearings, consular processing, and other legal proceedings.
• Prepare, review, and file petitions, applications, motions, briefs, and supporting documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
• Conduct up‑to‑date legal research on immigration statutes, regulations, and policy changes.
• Collaborate with paralegals and fellow attorneys to manage high‑volume caseloads efficiently.
• Maintain confidential, organized case files and ensure compliance with firm and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license in good standing, preferably Texas.
• Minimum 2 years of experience practicing immigration law across multiple case types.
• Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for hearings or firm needs.
