Identity Services Specialist Co‑Op (Spring 2025)

About the role

FM Global is seeking an Identity Services Specialist Co‑Op for the Spring 2025 term. This full‑time, six‑month remote position supports the Identity and Directory Services Team, handling Microsoft Active Directory and related technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise ticket queues and respond to incident tickets from the service desk.
• Process change requests and resolve issues related to identity, authentication, and authorization services (e.g., AD, Identity Federation, PKI, MFA).
• Set up users with Multi‑Factor Authentication and troubleshoot password management applications.
• Address account issues, including restoring accounts and fixing Single Sign‑On problems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory Domain Services, Federation Services, and Certificate Services.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, MIS or related degree program.
• Available to work full‑time (37.5 hours/week) from 9 am to 5 pm EST, Monday‑Friday, for six months.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; organized, detail‑oriented, and analytical.

Required skills

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Server 2012/2019, etc.).
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with PowerShell (a plus).
