ICU Registered Nurse

About the role

Join a leading healthcare organization as an ICU Registered Nurse and provide advanced, life‑saving care to high‑acuity patients. You will work in a fast‑paced critical care environment, delivering both routine and complex interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care using the nursing process for critically ill patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced therapies while monitoring effectiveness and side effects.
• Perform critical assessments, hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and rapid response to changes in patient condition.
• Address physical, psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and patient education.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care accurately in compliance with standards.

Required profile

• Active RN license in Texas or any compact state.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of ICU or critical‑care experience (strong Med‑Surg or acute‑care background considered).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong critical‑thinking, assessment, and communication skills in high‑pressure settings.
• Willingness to work full‑time 12‑hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
