HVAC Temperature Controls Technician II – Neuro Expansion

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic’s Neurological Institute as an HVAC Temperature Controls Technician II, supporting a new state‑of‑the‑art 15‑floor facility. You will work night shifts (10:30 pm–7:00 am) maintaining critical climate‑control systems that impact patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot HVAC equipment including chillers, reheat systems, VFDs, AHUs, humidifiers, dampers, coils, cooling towers and pumps.
• Document inspections, maintain records, and respond to work orders and alarms via the computerized maintenance management system and Building Management System.
• Maintain temperature, humidity and data‑logging devices; adjust set points and start/stop equipment as needed.
• Provide support to other Cleveland Clinic locations when required.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED and a valid driver’s license with an insurable record.
• At least three years of hands‑on experience with the listed HVAC systems or equivalent military experience in utilities or HVAC roles.
• Ability to read blueprints and use standard HVAC tools and techniques.
• Physical ability to lift and transport equipment weighing 100 lb or more and to work on ladders.
