About the role

The HVAC Service Technician will provide expert diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs for residential heating and cooling systems in Overland Park, KS. This performance‑driven position emphasizes high‑quality service, customer communication, and a commission‑based pay structure.

Key responsibilities

• Perform precise diagnostics and troubleshooting on a variety of residential HVAC systems.
• Complete an average of three service calls per day while maintaining reliability and consistency.
• Present repair and maintenance solutions to homeowners, educating them on system benefits to drive sales.
• Identify equipment older than 10 years and refer it to a Comfort Advisor for replacement estimates.
• Use a smartphone and iPad for dispatching, communication, and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience running residential HVAC service calls.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Proven ability to sell in‑home services and close maintenance memberships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for homeowner interaction and team coordination.
