HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Logan Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling systems in the Dayton area. You will be the trusted expert homeowners rely on for comfort year‑round.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative service to improve performance and extend equipment life.
• Identify system issues, recommend repairs or replacements, and clearly explain solutions to homeowners.
• Document work, materials, system readings, and service notes in the company reporting system.
• Follow all safety procedures, HVAC codes, and company standards while collaborating with dispatch, sales, and other teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and safety compliance.
• Willingness to continue learning and develop HVAC expertise.
