HVAC Craftsperson

About the role

The HVAC Craftsperson will maintain and improve plant utilities equipment, including HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection, compressed air and vacuum systems, supporting continuous improvement and energy reduction goals.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection, compressed air and vacuum systems.
• Work with Plant Support and Engineering to define and implement system modifications.
• Test and manage site water treatment and building automation controls.
• Maintain fire protection systems and support site energy reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Two‑year technical degree in HVAC (completed prior to start).
• Universal certification in refrigerant handling.
• Flexibility to work overtime, short‑notice call‑ins, and up to 5% travel.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Required skills

• HVAC systems operation and maintenance.
• Refrigerant handling certification.
• Siemens building automation experience.
• Fire protection system knowledge.
• Cooling tower water chemistry.
