Humanitarian Health Advisor, Ebola Response Consultant

About the role

The Humanitarian Health Advisor will support the U.S. Department of State’s Ebola Response effort, providing technical leadership and institutional expertise to strengthen health and humanitarian missions worldwide. You will work within the Humanitarian Assistance Support Contract (HASC) team, leveraging innovative AI, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions to improve response efficiency and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic health guidance for Ebola response operations across affected regions.
• Integrate AI‑driven analytics and cloud‑based platforms to enhance data collection, monitoring, and decision‑making.
• Coordinate with inter‑agency partners, NGOs, and local health authorities to align humanitarian assistance activities.
• Develop and oversee implementation of health security protocols, ensuring compliance with U.S. and international standards.
• Contribute to after‑action reviews and lessons‑learned documentation to inform future missions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in humanitarian health programs, preferably in epidemic or outbreak settings.
• Strong understanding of U.S. foreign assistance policies and the humanitarian assistance landscape.
• Ability to operate in high‑pressure, multi‑cultural environments and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
