Human Resources Manager's Assistant

About the role

Aptus Health Care is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Manager's Assistant to support its HR department with a variety of administrative tasks. The position is based in Edinburg and is full-time, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations and the maintenance of employee records
• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries while adhering to company policies and procedures
• Participate in job fairs and help improve employee morale through team-building activities
• Follow up on patient reviews and address grievances, plus other tasks as required

Required profile

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Previous experience in HR or administrative support roles is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of HR principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• In-person work setting; must be willing to travel to multiple clinics (Edinburg, McAllen, Rio, Roma)
