Human Resources (HR) Recruiter

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented HR Recruiter to support recruiting operations in Odessa, Texas on a contract basis. The role focuses on keeping hiring activities organized through accurate data management, interview coordination, reporting and administrative support for the HR team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate recruitment records by entering applicant and hiring data into spreadsheets, tracking tools, and HR systems.
• Coordinate interview scheduling with candidates, hiring managers and internal team members.
• Prepare, update and organize recruiting reports, dashboards and spreadsheets to monitor hiring activity and KPIs.
• Support job posting activity by assisting with requisition setup and ensuring open positions are published correctly.
• Assist with candidate screening tasks, gathering preliminary information and documenting interactions.
• Provide administrative support for onboarding documentation and pre‑employment screening steps.
• Manage communication and documentation related to staffing agencies and recruiting partners.
• Participate in hiring events such as career fairs, handling logistics and on‑site support.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in human resources, recruiting support or administrative coordination; prior recruiting exposure preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple deadlines, shifting priorities and maintain confidentiality.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
