Human Resources Generalist (Maternity Leave Cover)

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide maternity‑leave coverage for a leading luxury fashion client. The assignment runs from now until January 2027 and supports both store and head‑office teams across the United States and Canada.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage employee relations issues and support organizational changes.
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Lead recruitment efforts for retail stores and corporate functions.
  • Provide HR guidance to a workforce of over 100 employees.

Required profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or Generalist in retail.
  • Previous experience within a luxury fashion house is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle HR activities across multiple locations (US and Canada).

Required skills

  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruitment, and HR policy administration.
