Human Resources Generalist – Full-time, Onsite in New Orleans

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our New Orleans team. This full-time, onsite position supports the local HR function with day-to-day employee management, compliance, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Assist with recruitment activities, including interviewing and onboarding.
• Administer HR programs such as compensation, benefits, and training initiatives.
• Provide policy guidance and interpretation to staff at all levels.
• Conduct investigations, resolve complex employee issues, and support engagement projects.
• Stay current on HR trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of HR experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, and benefits administration.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
