Human Resources Coordinator – Hospital (Lacombe, LA)

About the role

We are seeking a talented and curious HR professional to serve as the on‑site Human Resources Coordinator at Northshore Rehabilitation Hospital in Lacombe, LA. This hands‑on, hospital‑based role supports caregivers, leaders, and operations while partnering closely with our HR Shared Services team.

Key responsibilities

• Own and coordinate day‑to‑day HR operations at the hospital, covering the full employee lifecycle.
• Partner with HR Shared Services to deliver payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, employee data, and HR administration support.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for employees and leaders, providing HR guidance and resources.
• Coordinate accurate payroll processing, timekeeping, and maintain data integrity.
• Drive talent acquisition efforts, including hiring coordination, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Act as the local subject‑matter expert for benefits, policies, and HR processes.
• Support employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Contribute to building a positive, high‑performing workplace culture and provide insights to shape HR strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least two years of experience in Human Resources.
• Strong partnership mindset, accountability, and desire to make a meaningful impact.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with HR‑related computer applications (e.g., payroll, benefits, HRIS).
