Human Resources Coordinator – Hospital HR

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our Austin, TX rehabilitation institute. This hands‑on, hospital‑based position supports caregivers, leaders, and operations while partnering with our HR Shared Services team.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day HR operations at the hospital level, covering the full employee lifecycle.
• Collaborate with HR Shared Services on payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, employee data, and administration.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for employees and managers, handling payroll processing, timekeeping, and data integrity.
• Support talent acquisition activities, including hiring coordination, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Act as the local subject‑matter expert for benefits, policies, and HR processes.
• Assist with employee‑relations matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Contribute insights to shape HR strategy and improve operational effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of HR experience.
• Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with benefit administration, payroll, and state/federal employment laws.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
