Human Resources Business Partner (Oil & Gas)

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner will act as a strategic liaison between HR and operational teams for a fast‑growing client in the Lafayette/Broussard area. You will support departmental managers on key HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers to address employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR policies.
• Assist in workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning.
• Maintain and support HR information systems (HRIS) to ensure accurate data reporting.
• Drive HR projects such as performance management, learning & development, and compliance initiatives.
• Provide HR analytics and insights to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• PHR or SHRM certification is a strong plus.
• Minimum 6 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in oil & gas, offshore, or maritime environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work on‑site with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to remain in the Lafayette/Broussard area (no relocation).
