Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

Avis Budget Group is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to act as an internal business partner, delivering HR programs, initiatives and solutions to its functional areas. As a key member of the HR leadership team, the role provides strategic and tactical HR support for an assigned field operations location of about 450 employees. On-site presence is required.

Key responsibilities

• Support union, non-union, management and staff in the specified departments and field locations, ensuring HR compliance from a legal and company policy perspective.
• Work with management to define talent management needs and design and implement HR programs such as organizational design, workforce development and planning, talent review, succession planning, talent acquisition and compensation management.
• Facilitate leadership development and talent retention efforts, including performance management, coaching and counselling, corrective actions, employee recognition and rewards and talent review.

Required profile

• 3+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Hands-on Employee Relations experience, including investigations, coaching leaders and guidance on performance management and employment practices.
• Ability to influence and partner with operational leaders while balancing employee experience and business objectives.
• On-site presence required; remote work is not eligible.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using HR data, workforce metrics and trends to recommend solutions and drive measurable improvement.

• Annual starting salary of $105,000, based on experience, with possible variation by market, skills, education and qualifications.
