Human Resources Business Partner

Join a mission‑driven organization dedicated to serving veterans. As a Human Resources Business Partner you will oversee HR functions, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations while supporting a high‑performing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor HR policies, procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Manage full‑cycle recruitment, hiring, onboarding, credentialing and employment eligibility.
• Maintain accurate personnel, payroll, attendance and disciplinary records.
• Oversee Workers’ Compensation and unemployment claims and coordinate with relevant agencies.
• Provide orientation, training support, policy interpretation and foster positive employee relations.
• Work onsite on a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings and holidays.

Required profile

• High school diploma with at least five years of HR or personnel experience; college degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR) preferred.
• Strong understanding of employee relations, employment law, Workers’ Compensation, unemployment, recruiting and onboarding.
• Demonstrated leadership, multitasking, communication skills and ability to handle confidential matters.
