HSSE Coordinator – Safety & Compliance (Full‑time)

About the role

The HSSE Coordinator ensures that all health, safety, security, and environmental regulations are met across the site in La Porte, Texas. This full‑time position works closely with employees, subcontractors, and clients to maintain a safe working environment and uphold company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain current OSHA, state, and local safety and health standards and ensure compliance.
• Prepare, submit, and archive required regulatory documentation and safety reports.
• Conduct daily safety surveys, incident investigations, and root‑cause analyses.
• Deliver safety orientations, training sessions, and toolbox talks for new hires and existing staff.
• Perform on‑site safety audits each shift, correct deficiencies immediately, and document corrective actions.
• Provide basic first‑aid treatment and coordinate emergency medical care when needed.

Required profile

• Must be able to spend approximately 85% of the shift in the field or unit.
• Must pass all required drug/alcohol testing and background checks.
• Ability to maintain poise and focus under time constraints and adverse conditions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Experience with incident investigation and corrective‑action planning.
• Proficiency in conducting safety audits and preparing compliance reports.
• Basic first‑aid and emergency response skills.
