HR Support Specialist - Time Administrator

About the role

ABB in Senatobia, Mississippi, is growing and is looking for a Time Administrator to join its onsite manufacturing facility. The role reports to the HR Business Partner and ensures weekly and biweekly time submittals for payroll for 1,200+ employees. It involves day-to-day HR transactions for one or several service lines or countries, complex escalations, and adherence to global HR standards and local legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and complete weekly and biweekly time submittals for payroll
• Research and help resolve escalations involving multiple processes and systems, analysing time and quotas to find root causes of time and pay discrepancies
• Review time functionality in the applicable systems and execute time processes accurately and on time for multiple employee groups
• Create and run reports to protect the integrity of Time and Attendance data
• Help develop and deliver reference materials and carry out project deliverables as assigned
• Act as Time Administrator for all Kronos/UKG and Workday processing and payroll and time support as assigned
• Advise managers, supervisors and HRBPs on timekeeping systems

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED plus 7 years of related experience, or an Associate's degree plus 5 years, or a Bachelor's degree plus 2 years in payroll, HR or time administration
• Authorization to work in the US
• Ability to handle confidential information, work under pressure, multi-task and communicate diplomatically with all levels

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• UKG/Kronos and Workday experience strongly preferred; other TMS/HCM systems are acceptable only if deeply versed
• Working knowledge of Kronos/UKG and Workday Time modules
