HR Service Benefits Specialist – North America

About the role

As an HR Service Benefits Specialist on the North America HR Services Team, you will lead benefits‑related integration activities for a newly acquired business unit and ensure smooth transition to ongoing benefits administration.

Key responsibilities

• Execute benefits vendor and system setup tasks, confirming eligibility rules and supporting plan validation.
• Coordinate benefits data collection, validation, reconciliation and resolve discrepancies with internal partners and vendors.
• Support testing activities, including UAT, parallel runs, documentation of results and issue resolution prior to go‑live.
• Track and route benefits‑related defects, questions and open items to closure.
• Assist with associate‑facing communications, logistics and job aids for benefits changes and enrollment timing.
• Provide day‑to‑day administration for North America benefits programs (Health & Welfare, LOA, 401(k), retirement, pension).
• Support end‑to‑end Open Enrollment preparation, testing, associate communications and issue resolution.
• Respond to associate and stakeholder inquiries, explain plan provisions and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Experience supporting benefits integration and administration activities.
• Familiarity with North America benefits programs such as health, welfare, leave of absence, 401(k), retirement and pension.
• Strong coordination skills with internal HR process owners, vendors and system teams.
