About the role
The HR Specialist – Learning and Development will design, deliver and monitor training programs for university staff. This role assesses learning needs, creates appropriate development solutions and ensures compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate and present employee training initiatives.
- Assess developmental needs and recommend suitable learning solutions.
- Track participation, outcomes and effectiveness of training programs.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal and institutional policies.
- Collaborate with department leaders to align training with organizational goals.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Public Administration or a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience in human resources.
- Experience in employee training and development programs (preferred).
- Experience working in higher education or with Workday (preferred).
