HR Manager – Remote (US)

About the role

We are a multi‑division transportation company based in the United States seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead recruitment, payroll, and overall HR operations across all business lines. This fully remote role requires you to work on US Eastern Standard Time (New York) and collaborate with stakeholders nationwide.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate employee relations issues, conduct interview‑based investigations, and draft comprehensive reports with remedial recommendations.
• Produce complete investigation documentation and manage casework from initiation to closure, ensuring compliance with SLAs.
• Analyze data from HR reporting systems to track case progress, identify trends, and propose improvements.
• Partner with business leaders, Corporate ER, Compliance, and Legal teams on complex investigations and crisis‑oriented employee matters.
• Design, collect, and analyze employee and stakeholder feedback to inform people programs, policies, and cultural initiatives.
• Lead large‑scale ER/IR projects, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to improve the employee relations environment.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken English with near‑native proficiency.
• Strong work ethic, ability to handle high‑pressure situations, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven capability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliver results under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Competent use of Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word.
