HR Manager – In-House Temp (Onsite, New York)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our New York team on a temporary, on‑site basis. The role will act as a strategic HR Business Partner, supporting multiple business units and driving people initiatives that align with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent development and performance management.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring consistent policy application and compliance.
• Collaborate with recruitment teams to align hiring strategies with business needs.
• Leverage HR reporting, analytics and workforce data to inform decisions and improve effectiveness.
• Support change‑management projects and organizational transitions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Work cross‑functionally with HR, talent, total rewards, recruitment and business stakeholders on key initiatives.
• Maintain operational excellence, confidentiality and compliance across all HR activities.

Required profile

• 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partner roles.
• Proven experience in complex or matrixed organizations.
• Strong background in organizational design, workforce planning, talent management and change management.
• Excellent influencing and relationship‑building skills at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
