HR Generalist

About the role

We are seeking an HR Generalist to support multiple sites across the Northeast and Midwest, providing high‑impact HR services throughout the employee lifecycle. The role is hybrid, requiring occasional travel to the locations you support.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare offer letters and lead new‑hire onboarding.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to termination.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Partner with internal recruiters and staffing agencies.
• Collaborate with leaders on hiring, promotions, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Address employee‑relations matters, including complaints and policy guidance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Administer HR policies, programs, and procedures.
• Support benefits administration, FMLA/STD/LTD processes, and annual open enrollment.
• Promote a positive employee culture through communication boards and engagement initiatives.
• Contribute to programs aligned with ANDRITZ’s #1Andritzway culture.
• Travel approximately 10–20% across supported locations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–4 years of HR or administrative experience.
• Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
