HR Generalist – Full‑time In‑Office Role

About the role
We are seeking an HR Generalist to support our West Monroe office. The role involves handling a full spectrum of HR functions, from onboarding and benefits administration to employee relations and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct new‑hire orientation and process all onboarding paperwork in the HRIS.
- Maintain employee records, benefits enrollment, and payroll reports.
- Administer bi‑weekly payroll and manage corrective‑action processes, terminations, and exit interviews.
- Coordinate benefit enrollments and respond to unemployment claims, garnishments, and other employee inquiries.
- Support workplace investigations and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Collaborate with management to communicate HR policies and best practices.
- Provide backup for reception duties and perform general clerical tasks as needed.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED; college degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
- At least two years of HR experience, preferably with employee relations, payroll, and benefits.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems, specifically UltiPro, and strong understanding of HR policies.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

- Competitive salary $52,000‑$56,000 annually.
- Full‑time, permanent position with Monday‑Friday schedule.
