HR Generalist – Full Cycle Recruiting & Onboarding

About the role

We are seeking an HR Generalist to lead full‑cycle recruiting and employee onboarding for a growing hospitality organization in Louisiana. The role focuses on attracting experienced talent, coordinating hiring activities, and maintaining organized HR records and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to define staffing priorities, compensation expectations, and role requirements.
• Develop and execute recruitment plans aligned with operational goals.
• Create and manage job postings across appropriate channels.
• Maintain accurate candidate data in the HRIS and applicant tracking system.
• Build talent pipelines by engaging both active and passive candidates.
• Coordinate interview logistics and guide candidates through each selection stage.
• Assess applicant fit through structured conversations and evaluation methods.
• Prepare and present employment offers and support acceptance steps.
• Administer pre‑employment activities such as background checks and reference verification.
• Lead onboarding tasks to ensure a positive start for new employees.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, or a related HR generalist function.
• Hands‑on knowledge of full‑cycle talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems.
• Familiarity with core HR administration processes, including pre‑employment coordination and new employee support.
• Understanding of benefit‑related functions and general HR operations.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities to manage multiple openings simultaneously.
