About the role
The House Attendant (Houseman) is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public areas at the Marriott Lakeway hotel in Metairie, LA. This role supports guest services by ensuring lobby, meeting rooms, and restrooms meet Blue Sky Hospitality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Deep clean assigned public areas, including floors, carpets, and furniture.
- Set up and maintain complimentary lobby functions such as coffee service and nightly concierge events.
- Clean and restock public restrooms throughout the shift.
- Assist guests with luggage at check‑in and check‑out in a courteous manner.
- Handle lost‑and‑found items according to company procedures.
- Complete daily assignment checklists and turn in keys and sheets at shift end.
Required profile
- Commitment to follow Blue Sky Hospitality standards and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced hotel environment.
