Household Manager & Family Assistant – Infant/Child Care

About the role

We are an entrepreneurial couple seeking a dedicated Household Manager & Family Assistant to support our newborn and daily household operations in New York. The role blends infant/childcare with organized household management, allowing us to focus on our professional commitments while providing a nurturing environment for our child.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive, developmentally‑appropriate daytime care, including play, reading, music, and tummy time.
• Maintain household organization through daily resets, light tidying, dishwashing, inventory management, and coordination with cleaners and other support staff.
• Plan and prepare 3–5 family meals per week, manage grocery shopping and pantry organization, and keep the kitchen clean.
• Handle laundry, ironing, and garment care according to family preferences.
• Manage household inventory, recurring orders, errands, and vendor coordination.
• Support the family calendar, follow up on tasks, and provide concise updates on completed work.

Required profile

• Several years of professional infant/childcare and household management experience.
• Excellent English communication skills, reliable transportation, and authorization to work in the United States.
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification.
• Ability to maintain a smoke‑free environment and stay up‑to‑date on recommended vaccinations.

What we offer

• Annual compensation of $90,000–$105,000, commensurate with experience.
