House Person

About the role

The Hotel House Person is responsible for keeping all public areas of the hotel clean, tidy and welcoming for guests and staff. This position works closely with the housekeeping team to ensure that hallways, lobbies, restrooms and meeting spaces meet the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including hallways, lobbies, restrooms and meeting rooms.
• Deliver and retrieve linens, cleaning supplies and equipment for housekeeping staff.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for extra supplies or amenities.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Restock supplies in public restrooms and other designated locations.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department.
• Assist with special projects, deep‑cleaning tasks and event support as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift and carry items up to 50 lb.
