House Manager - Venue Events

About the role

Legends Global is hiring a House Manager for its venue in Pensacola, Florida. The House Manager leads smooth front-of-house operations during events at the Pensacola Bay Center, overseeing guest experience, crowd control and admission while supervising front-of-house staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee front-of-house operations including ingress and egress, lobby flow, crowd management and guest experience throughout events
• Supervise ticketing operations, resolve entry discrepancies, handle scanning issues and coordinate with box office staff
• Respond in real time to guest concerns, ADA accommodations and escalated service issues
• Collaborate with Event Operations, Security and Production teams to enforce venue policies and safety regulations
• Complete records and reports, and carry out other duties assigned by venue management
• Supervise front-of-house staff, plan and assign work, and address complaints and problems

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
• 1 to 2 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience
• Previous management experience in a similar venue
• Subject to credit and background screening
• Onsite work at the venue, with possible exposure to adverse conditions and extended or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Required skills

• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate a computer terminal, printer and two-way radio equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk and stand for long periods, and climb stairs
• Understanding of front-of-house coordination in a public assembly environment
