Hotel Maintenance Supervisor – East Coast (Travel Required)

About the role

The Hotel Maintenance Supervisor ensures that all hotel spaces on American Cruise Lines’ ships meet the company’s standards and guest expectations. Based on the East Coast, you will travel to vessels throughout the operating season to inspect, report, and coordinate repairs, and manage regional projects during lay‑up periods.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect hotel furniture, fixtures and equipment on board ships.
• Conduct walkthroughs with Hotel General Manager or Housekeeping Manager to verify cleanliness standards.
• Prepare detailed ship‑visit reports documenting deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, manage their work schedules, and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
• Resolve issues raised through the Hotel Maintenance ticket system.
• Provide guidance to onboard teams on maintenance tasks.
• Establish timelines for moving in furniture, fixtures and replacement items.
• Facilitate communication between contractors, crew, and management.
• Perform final inspections to confirm quality before ship delivery.
• Participate in weekly meetings with Hotel Maintenance and Product Development managers.
• Handle additional assignments from senior management as needed.

Required profile

• Prior hospitality experience maintaining and repairing public spaces and guest rooms in hotels or on cruise ships.
• Strong organizational abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use internal software and provided technology.
• Successful completion of a US Coast Guard‑regulated pre‑employment drug test.
