Hospitalist – Day Shift Physician

About the role
Overlake Medical Center is expanding its Hospitalist program and seeks a board‑certified or board‑eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join a dedicated day‑shift team. You will work in a 349‑bed nonprofit regional medical center providing comprehensive acute care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care for hospitalist patients during day shifts (approximately 132 shifts per year).
- Collaborate with 10 in‑house advanced practice providers for cross‑cover calls.
- Respond to code stroke and rapid response team (RRT) calls; code blue is covered by ICU/ER physicians.
- Coordinate with 24/7 in‑house intensivists and support a closed ICU environment.
Required profile
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Experience in inpatient hospital medicine preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
