Hospice Chaplain – Spiritual Counselor (Per Diem)

About the role
BAYADA Hospice is seeking a Per Diem Spiritual Counselor to provide compassionate spiritual and emotional support to patients and families across Chittenden, Franklin, and Washington Counties in Vermont. This role involves home visits as part of an experienced hospice care team.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and follow each client’s spiritual care plan.
- Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and family members.
- Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
- Participate in bereavement services for families, referral sources, and the community.
Required profile
- Master of Divinity degree (CPE unit preferred).
- At least one year of spiritual counseling experience in a health‑care setting, preferably hospice or palliative care.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to travel within the coverage area.
