Home Health Speech Language Pathologist

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide part‑time or per‑diem home health services to adult and geriatric patients throughout Anne Arundel County, MD.

Key responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and continually revise treatment plans based on evaluations, physician orders, and client goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to integrate speech therapy into overall care plans.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitative activities that promote health, safety, and independent living.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a tablet‑based electronic medical record system.

Required profile

• Current Maryland license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association, or equivalent education and work experience pending certification.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
