Home Health Aide – Certified & Non-Certified (On‑Call)

About the role

National Church Residences is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides in Central Ohio to provide direct client care and after‑hours on‑call support for seniors. Flexible scheduling and mileage reimbursement are offered.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Prepare meals, provide feeding assistance, and perform light housekeeping, laundry and errands.
• Observe, monitor and report changes in client condition; take vital signs when ordered.
• Handle on‑call duties: respond to scheduling calls, coordinate replacement coverage, and maintain communication with the Manager on Duty.

Required profile

• Certified or non‑certified Home Health Aide.
• Compassionate, dependable, organized and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities; calm under urgent situations.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes.
• High school diploma or GED and ability to meet physical demands.
