Licensed Therapist/Counselor - Substance Use Recovery

About the role

Compass Health Network is seeking a licensed therapist to join its Adult Outpatient team in Cuba, Missouri. You will provide individual therapy, treatment planning and crisis intervention for adults with mental health and/or substance use challenges, within a multidisciplinary team delivering person-centered, integrated care. The position is full time, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, and is eligible for benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy and support services to adult clients
• Serve as team coordinator for referrals, waitlists and client care (especially in CSTAR/OUD settings if applicable)
• Conduct clinical assessments and complete treatment plans with clients
• Provide triage during Open Access hours when needed
• Deliver culturally competent services tailored to each person's needs
• Maintain complete, accurate and timely documentation in line with agency and state regulations
• Coordinate care with internal and external providers for wraparound support
• Provide crisis intervention during daytime hours per agency protocol
• Take part in treatment team meetings and quality assurance activities
• Provide licensure supervision (if applicable) and meet productivity and customer care standards
• Attend required training and stay compliant with funders and accrediting bodies

Required profile

• Master's degree in counseling, social work or psychology
• Provisional or full licensure in Missouri as PLPC, LPC, PLMFT, LMFT, LMSW or LCSW
• Ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with adults facing complex mental health or substance use challenges
• Comfortable handling crisis situations calmly and professionally

What we offer

• Pay of $36.29-$39.29 per hour
