Highway Construction Laborer

About the role

FNF Construction, Inc. is looking for a Highway Construction Laborer to join its heavy civil construction teams across the Southwestern United States. The successful candidate will support journeymen trades on highway projects, ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

Key responsibilities

• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 lb.
• Navigate uneven surfaces, ladders, and scaffolding safely.
• Operate hand and power tools, including jack hammers (Jumping Jack).
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Assist journeymen with all phases of highway construction.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in highway or civil construction.
• Ability to work around live traffic and heavy equipment.
• Willingness to travel and work night or day shifts.
• Commitment to safety‑sensitive environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Proficiency with power tools.
• Experience operating a jack hammer.
