High School Library Media Technician (Full Benefits)

About the role
The High School Library Media Technician will support library and media services at East Union High School, working with high‑school age students on a full‑time, 8‑hour daily schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with daily library operations and media resources.
- Provide support to students and staff during library hours.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 48 semester units, an Associate Degree, or successful completion of a basic paraprofessional proficiency test.
- Desirable experience working in schools or in a library setting.
- Pre‑employment requirements: TB clearance and fingerprinting (employee cost).
- Preference given to internal candidates.

What we offer
- Full benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision) or cash compensation in lieu of benefits with proof of coverage.
- Monday‑Friday schedule, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with a half‑hour lunch.
- Anticipated start date in late July.
