High School Coach (2026-27) – Non-faculty Position

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated non‑faculty coach to lead its high school athletic program for the 2026‑27 school year. The coach will design, implement, and oversee all sport‑specific activities, ensuring compliance with rules and fostering a positive environment for student‑athletes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess student‑athletes to provide performance feedback and determine team placement.
• Develop game strategies, practice plans, and conditioning programs (strength, speed, agility, nutrition, injury prevention).
• Supervise student‑athletes during practices, competitions, and related events.
• Maintain records such as statistics, insurance forms, emergency information, and equipment inventories.
• Evaluate facilities for safety hazards and recommend improvements.
• Guide and mentor assistant coaches and other staff.
• Coordinate parent orientations, recognition events, and community liaison activities.

Required profile

• Experience coaching high school level sports or equivalent athletic program leadership.
• Strong understanding of sport rules, safety protocols, and athletic development.
• Ability to serve as a positive role model and mentor for students.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and school staff.

Required skills
