About the role

The Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Loader position is a safety‑sensitive, full‑time role at Kemp Quarries, a leading producer of construction aggregates in Oklahoma. The operator is responsible for safely and efficiently running mobile aggregate mining and processing equipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Attend worksite reliably and follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures (MSHA, company policies, local, state, and federal rules).
  • Operate and monitor mobile mining and processing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, pre‑shift inspections, and clean or repair equipment as needed.
  • Maintain housekeeping of plant, equipment, and site.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and promptly.

Required profile

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; no or very little prior experience required.
  • Good safety, behavior, and attendance record.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on a flexible schedule, including swing, graveyard, overtime, and weekends.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and perform heavy labor as needed.
