Healthcare Litigation and Regulatory Associate

About the role

Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a midlevel Healthcare Litigation & Regulatory Associate to join its nationally recognized Healthcare Practice Group in Seattle or Los Angeles (preferred). The associate works on regulatory and litigation issues for healthcare providers, systems and industry participants, supported by experienced healthcare litigators and regulatory attorneys. The role offers focused development with consistent mentorship and meaningful responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Healthcare litigation and commercial disputes
• Medical staff and peer review matters
• Licensing and board actions
• Administrative enforcement proceedings
• Fraud and abuse investigations and enforcement matters
• Related regulatory and compliance disputes

Required profile

• 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably at a law firm
• Interest in healthcare law, regulatory enforcement and complex disputes
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively across teams
• Strong academic credentials and excellent professional judgment

Required skills

• Strong writing, research, advocacy and case management skills
• Experience handling litigation matters through various stages of dispute resolution

What we offer

• Annualized salary range of $225,000 to $315,000, adjusted for education, training and experience
