Healthcare Analyst - Rural Health Transformation

About the role

Deloitte's Strategy & Transactions team supports clients through transformational initiatives, covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, M&A and more. The Healthcare Analyst develops project materials and turns healthcare information into clear, client-ready deliverables for Rural Health Transformation engagement teams. This is an entry-to-mid-level role providing research, writing and document-development support.

Key responsibilities

• Research healthcare and rural health policy topics and summarize findings for internal team and client use
• Develop and format project materials such as presentations, briefing documents and status updates
• Translate technical or clinical healthcare information into plain-language content
• Support storytelling and narrative development for client deliverables with senior consultants
• Proofread and quality-check materials for accuracy, consistency and formatting standards
• Maintain organized documentation and version control across workstreams
• Support ad hoc research and data-gathering requests from the engagement team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of professional experience in healthcare, public sector or consulting
• Foundational understanding of healthcare, hospital or Medicaid program concepts
• Able to travel 50% on average and must obtain a clearance
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
• Preferred: presentation or client-document experience, rural health or Medicaid exposure, health-policy coursework or internship, document design familiarity

The stated wage range is $78,700 to $155,100, depending on skills, experience and location.
