Health Partner – Health & Benefits Consulting

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Health Partner to join its Health & Benefits Consulting team, part of the people and investments business. The role is based in Washington, DC or Richmond, VA and is hybrid, with at least three days a week in the office. The Health Partner leads complex client engagements, designs benefits and renewal strategies, builds tools and solutions for client challenges, expands business opportunities and is accountable for revenue and profitability across client accounts and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex client engagements and develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies
• Drive the development of tools and solutions to address complex client issues
• Monitor project success in terms of scope, budget, timeliness and client satisfaction
• Be accountable for revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects
• Set strategic direction and create demand for new products and services
• Lead external client relationships and internal consulting teams

Required profile

• Proven track record of initiating new opportunities and winning new business in health and benefits consulting
• Strong expertise in benefits design, renewal strategies and client engagement management
• Experience managing project scope, budget and client satisfaction
• Strong relationship management experience and business acumen
• Understanding of how benefits fit into the broader human capital landscape
• Nice to have: strong client and market relationships, demonstrated client growth, success negotiating rates and coverage with carriers and vendors, and strong leadership skills

What we offer

• Base salary range of $212,000 to $318,000, depending on experience, skills, location, certifications, education and other factors
